On our new album Halcyon Days, Tygersounds channels larger-than-life stadium anthems of the ‘80s and ‘90s played through obscure vintage synthesizers and drum machines. Each song tells a poignant narrative of resilience and redemption, delving into the lives of a cast of antiheroes amidst soaring synth lines and 12-bit drum grooves.

A Different kind of world
We released our first full-length album in spring 2020, just when the world needed some music. The title proved eerily prescient. We had just performed many of these songs for the first time, right before NYC shut down.

IT ALL BEGAN…
…in Jordan’s smaller-than-normal East Village apartment, where he wrote and produced these first songs that would become Tygersounds. They’re still fan favorites and at least one makes it into our live set list!
